Hands-On Phlebotomy Training for the Real World
Our 100-hour Phlebotomy Technician program combines classroom instruction, hands-on practice, and supervised blood-collection experience to help students develop the skills needed in real patient-care settings.
Students learn the technical skills, patient-care principles, safety procedures, and professional practices needed to perform blood collection confidently and accurately.
Classroom Instruction
Build the foundation needed to understand blood-collection procedures, patient identification, infection prevention, specimen handling, safety, and professional responsibilities.
Hands-On Laboratory Practice
Develop venipuncture and capillary-stick technique, practice proper equipment selection and use, follow the order of draw, and learn safe specimen-collection procedures.
Live Blood Collection Experience
Perform supervised venipunctures and capillary sticks on live individuals while developing patient-care, communication, and blood-collection skills.
Training Designed for National Certification Readiness
30+ Successful Venipunctures
Students practice and successfully complete venipunctures on live individuals under instructor supervision.
10+ Capillary Sticks
Students complete capillary blood collections on live individuals as part of their hands-on training.
National Certification Testing at First Coast
Eligible graduates can take their NHA or MedCA national certification exam at First Coast Training Center, providing a clear path from training to certification.
