Hands-On EKG Technician Training & National Certification Preparation

100-Hour EKG Technician Training

Our 100-hour program combines classroom instruction, hands-on laboratory practice, and supervised live EKG experience to prepare students for entry-level EKG Technician work.

Hands-On Training

Students practice patient preparation, electrode placement, 12-lead EKG acquisition, equipment use, artifact recognition, and other essential EKG Technician skills throughout the program.

10+ EKGs on Live Individuals

Students successfully perform at least 10 EKGs on live individuals as part of their hands-on training and certification preparation.

National Certification Preparation & On-Site Testing

Our curriculum is designed around the knowledge and practical expectations of national certification organizations including NHA and MedCA. Eligible graduates can take their national certification exam at First Coast Training Center.Learn More

Mrs. Sibley and Ms. Bartley are an awesome combo for this program! As they told us - both teach very differently from each other. However, their styles compliment one another in a great way. I learned a ton of hands-on skills for the CNA role and am excited to go to clinicals, thanks to them. They bring decades of work experience to the program, and are fantastic at sharing real life examples to bring to life what they are teaching. Thank you so much for introducing us to this field of work. I feel like my dollars spent on the program were definitely worth it!
